Grow your brain and start the weekend with free, family fun at the Longview Public Library. Programs run between April 10 and May 10. These events are open to all, without reservations.
, 3:30-5 p.m. MakerPlace. Students can try their hand at using Scratch to program a computer game, use Makey-Makeys to make a banana piano, play MineCraft on a Raspberry Pi or XBox 360, create art with Gimp, light up LED’s with Squishy Circuits, and more! Geek pro’s Karen Straube and Jennifer King will be on hand to help!

, May 3, 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon. Cinco de Mayo. The MMHS Spanish Club, Jessica Sanchez and Maribel Ramirez make Sábados Super with bilingual stories, food, games and crafts celebrating Mexican culture.
