Amnesty Day at the Longview Library
Posted Date: 4/7/2014
We want you back! If you’ve been holding on to some overdue items from the Longview Public Library because you were too embarrassed to return them, or because you didn’t want to pay the mounting fines, you will soon have the opportunity to return those items without embarrassment and without paying any charges.

In celebration of National Library Week the Longview Library will be having an Amnesty Day on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Any items returned that day will not have any fines associated with them. If you’ve had the items for more than two years, please return them to one of the checkout desks and give your name. Long-time missing items are no longer in the computer system, though the charges are still on your account, and with your name we can ensure charges are removed.

So, open up those old moving boxes, look under your bed or under your car seats and return those long-checked-out items to the library.
