Spring fun for kids at the Longview Library

The Longview Public Library offers free stories, classes and more for kids and families March 28 through May 11. Pre-registration only required for the monthly MakerPlace Book Club. Siblings are always welcome to attend story times. No library card needed. For more information, call 360.442.5300, or visit

  • Mother Goose Time, for infants, 0 to 24 months. Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.
  • Toddler Time Stories and Crafts, for 2 - 3-year-olds. Fridays, 10:30 a.m.
  • Preschool Stories and Crafts, for 3 years and up. Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.
  • MakerPlace, for elementary grades, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Wednesdays. Drop-in activities (art projects, games, construction toys, STEM projects), except third Wednesdays, which is Book Club, recommended for readers in grades 3 -5. Sign up at the lower floor to get your copy of the book. Book Club runs March 21 – May 16.
  • Messy Art Day, messy creative open play for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21.
