The Longview Public Library is offering a free Beginning Watercolor Class (for older teens and adults) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. starting June 7th, and continuing the following two weeks on June 14th and 21st. The class will cover basic materials and techniques for painting with watercolors, along with fun, beginner-level activities designed to enjoy the medium in creative ways. Watercolor supplies will be provided, and although the class is tailored for individuals with little or no watercolor experience, painters and artists of every skill level are welcome.
The class will be taught by former college instructor Daniel Tate, who has an MFA in painting from Washington State University. Space is limited to 20 students, and registration is required. We ask that you only sign up for the class if you can attend each of the three sessions.
Contact the Longview Public Library at 360.442.5300 to sign up, or for more information about the class.
