Longview Public Library Partners with WorkSource Cowlitz/Wahkiakum

The Longview Library and WorkSource are partnering to bring employment resources to you! WorkSource will be holding monthly classes at the Longview Public Library for job seeking and resume building help. Classes will be held the first and third Fridays of the month beginning March 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Space is limited to 10 students and registration is required. Call the Library at 360.442.5321 to register.

Job Search Strategies will help you look for the jobs that fit you. Find out the best way to job search. 

Resumes and Cover Letters communicate to a prospective employer who you are, what you know, and what you have to offer. Which resume and cover letter formats best display your skills, knowledge, and abilities? Learn what to use to attract employers and lead to more interviews! Learn the difference between an application and a resume and why you need to do both of them.

Training and Funding programs are available through WorkSource, including the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act/Title 1 federally-funded program that helps pay for training and offers support services for eligible individuals in qualifying occupations and Reboot, which is a new program that can be your foot in the door for a career in manufacturing or information technology.
