Longview Public Library Culture Card
Posted Date: 11/18/2013
On December 2, 2013 the Longview Public Library will launch an exciting new program, the Culture Card. Without question art, music and theater inspire, engage, entertain and enlighten us. However, not all of us can afford to attend these worthwhile cultural events. Through a collaborative partnership with The Columbia Theatre, Longview Stageworks, and Southwest Washington Symphony, Longview Public Library cardholders will have the opportunity to check out tickets to one of these three cultural organization’s shows for free.

Through generous donations from the Longview Library Foundation and the Friends of the Longview Library, two adult tickets will be available for shows being presented at The Columbia Theatre and Longview Stageworks. Additionally, two adult and two child tickets will be available for the winter and spring concerts of the Southwest Washington Symphony.

To use the Culture Card, you will need a valid Longview Public Library card in good standing. The Culture Card will be available on a first come first served basis to cardholders 18 years and older and can only be checked out once per year. Culture cards are good for the show reserved only. There are a limited number of passes available, so check them out now.

Detailed rules for using the Culture Card and reservation information can be found at www.longviewlibrary.org. For more information, contact Elizabeth Partridge at 360.442.5321 or elizabethp@mylongview.com.
